Proud moment

In life i have had many proud moments, funny enough the proudest moments were probably not necessarily mine but pride in the ones I love.

I am forever proud of my mom for what she has managed to do since my dad passed on.  raising for kids who r still in school aint easy by any means.  but she sent us to the best schools in zim and some pretty good universities, she has kept her house in order,  she takes care of her mother, and has so much love for her true friends.  what better example can u get than tht.
I was proud when my brother kicked ass in his A levels allowing him to get a scholarship to uni reducing stress for my mommy.
I was proud when my older brothers graduated from Uni and this gave me a certainty that i can do this too and raise the chabudapasi family name a lil higher.
I was proud when my brother decided to get married cz this is not a move to be made without some serious thot.
I was proud when my brothers stopped drinking, showed me the is nothing God cant do, no matter what the circumstances may be showing.
I was proud when my friend left camelsa to be with her husband, not many people will leave their career behind for the sake of love.  It hasnt been easy leaving family and friends behind for unchartered territories but she has done it and i believe her marriage wouldnt be where it is if she hadnt made tht sacrifice.
I was proud when my friend started her clothing label and chased her dream.  let me tell you it has not been easy by any means, but she has continued to believe and when she felt down we wer there to reignite the flame under her butt and get her going again.  and now MILAN BABY now how can I not be proud of tht.
i am always proud of my man for chasing his love, it may not be where he wants it to be at right now but he has perservered and will continue doin so with the support of a loving wife to be :-)
i was proud when my friends went through heart break and came out stronger.  its a tearful road full of alot of name calling and threats of cutting off balls, but its a road travelled by many but the end point is not always the same.
I was proud when my friends told me they were preggos, to be a mother surely there is no greater privelage on this earth.
i was proud when man could be open enough to not only speak to me bout some serious things tht would possibly make others thnk eeek are we here already.
i was proud at every stage of the current process we going thru coz i knw some have decided to change their mind midway and left broken hearts behind.
I was proud when my friends learnt to forgive thngs which to most are jus none starters. The word teaches forgiveness and it sounds really easy when ur reading about it but application isnt always so easy.
I was proud when my brother became a father, its so surreal one minute ur jus a singleton then next thing ur married then u have a child a home, like geez.  u can imagine the pride when i realised the lil angel was named after me, no prouder moment than tht.

at times u may not realise the dream but chasing it is part of living.  you may not be where u wanna be or with who u think u wanna be but that dont mean u need to stop living.  we all need to take a serious look at where we r in life and make an active decision to either change our circumstanes or continue along the path we r on currently.  you are in control of your destiny and u cnt blame anyone else for where u are or what u have become.  its all on u.

so jus looking at the above i am seeing how trully blessed i am to be surrounded by some seriously strong, kind, loving, patient, honest, God fearing people.  with God on my side i am more than a conqueror.

stay strong tmwr will be a better day though in my case tmwr will be another diet day filled with lotsa water and very little food :-(  kikikiki self inflicted but hey u gotta do what u gotta do.

That akward moment

So as we start november on a fairly hungry note (story for another day)  i cant help but remember days gone by when transport used to be a b#$%h in zim and i used to wait for the bus to get to work.  so basically by the time the bus came to a bus stop near me it would be packed and only space left would be as a standing passenger.  dont for a second think some "gentleman was gonna stand up for u to sit coz he can see ur seeing fire with ur laptop in one hand hand bag in the other, apa the day u make the mistake to wear ur heels early lol.  the bus ride would have been fine if u wudnt have had a dirty lil man standing behind u and another one in front of u making for a tari sandwich on on dirty man eeek.  as the bus shakes along its way tht very very awkward moment when u bump the dude behind u and he has a boner :-(  u can try convince urself tht its somethn else but we all know thts nt a bar one in his pocket poking u.  then to end an already awkward situ some nigga then rings the bell frm the back wanting to come out squeezing his way past the standing passengers to then oh so gently stroke you boob and look at u and say ah sorry tete with a mad grin on their face.  from that day going forward safe to say i was no longer opposed to catchin a ride at the back of a pick up truck for fear of a repeat of what may be the worst locl bus ride i have ever had.  least u know the worst tht can happen in the back of a truck is ur hair being a mess by the time u get to town,  but tht is a more preferable violation than what this bus ride anyday.

have a good one yal.  one month til xmas yay
