tale of the late combi

So combi time again smile emoticon so i took one to work this time and nicely left my house at 06:30 so that i could catch my bus to work. So First mistake taking a combi that was going in the opposite direction. I felt a sign of relieve as we turned into helensvale road or whatever its called until we then turned down the road going to pandari. The oh so familiar feeling of having made a mistake started settling in. I know I don't like combis that speed but no man this was too much. Must we move at 10km/hr seriously WE ARE TRYING TO GET TO WORK. It just continued on a downhill trend where we found ourselves behind a truck struggling up enterprise road packed with bales of tobacco and the tobacco owners trailing behind. Mind you the window would not close i kept winding and it just would not budge and this truck was smoking the heck. So eventually we made it to town at 07:40 by which time the bus had already left and if i didn't want to be late i would have to catch one of those city "taxis" not sure what the street term for them is lol. So here we are all 9 of us in a honda fit YES NINE. It was a short distance but yoh i felt every bit of it honestly. So I then drop off by chinhoyi and I am walking as fast as my little fat legs will move to try catch another combi to now take me to workington. As luck would have It none of the combis had people so now the waiting game for the combi to fill up. It eventually gets full and then we are on our way. Boom we get to the lytton traffic light and there is a traffic jam like no other. Go figure the day you are late is when things like this happen. The best thing to happen was bumping into the HR officer from work as and catching a lift to get me to work at exactly 08:01 LOL almost made it in time.
